the staff were accommodating and provided wine glasses with ice for our room it added a thoughtful touch i booked a wowcher deal for dinner where we had a set menu option or a £15 allowance towards the main menu the flexibility suited us perfectly the hermitage and the cathedral were fine places to walk and enjoy the local area it added to a relaxing feel.
the stair carpets showed wear and were visibly frayed it gave me some concern as i carried my luggage.
